The public consultation for the next stage of development in our area has now started and runs until Thursday 20 March 2008. We're being asked to consider a reduced option of 1,500 houses and a partial relief road. The PRC (Post Referendum Campaign) still consider that as unsustainable over-development for East Grinstead.
Bill Glenister, environmental representative for the PRC, will attend Ashdown FoE's next meeting this Thursday evening, 31 January at 7.30pm at the Brambletye Hotel in Forest Row, to brief our group on their campaign "Say no again - there's a better way."
We have to discuss and decide what our position is. Please come along to the meeting and help shape our response to the consultation and the future of our area.
We hope to see you there.
